Iggy Azalea was moving towards a new project, in gratitude for the patience of her fans with the switch-up, Iggy gifted her fans, who were patiently waiting for her album Digital Distortion to arrive, four new tracks to hold them over until her new album materializes. Iggy shared the tracks on Twitter, prompting fans to question her about Digital Distortion’s whereabouts. When a fan asked the rapper if the title of the album remains the same, Iggy responded with the name of her new project, “surviving the summer.”
Survive The Summer, styled as S.T.S., is the upcoming EP by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. The project was first teased when she posted the cryptic S.T.S. acronym on twitter back on August 21st 2017. After releasing an official single called ‘’Savior’‘ on February 2nd 2018 through her new label Island Records, she finally put an end to months of teasing and speculation and on April 27th 2018 she revealed that her next project “Survive The Summer” will be a six song visual EP. For the EP’s concept, Iggy reflects on all the false promises of a carefree season like summer, and creates her own meaning of personal struggles and expectations. In this interview, she tells us a bit about the progress of her new album, and her plans of make music videos, her outfit and the Summer Kick Off Concert.
